In these pages you'll get an insight into my journey to renovate a beautiful house and its garden in the hills surrounding the city of Jesi (Iesi) in Le Marche. 
 
My name is Emma. I was born in New Zealand, lived in Australia and for 22 years have called the United Kingdom home. I bought this house in February 2023, spending only two nights here before I had to head down under for 8 months for work. Since returning in October, I have started to work with a team on assessing the structural issues that are present, and beginning the process of clearing some of the more overgrown parts of the garden.
